Indira Gandhi National Open University, known as IGNOU, is a central university located in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India. The School of Extension and Development Studies of Indira Gandhi National Open University has started training in animal welfare from the session of July 2020. 42 Courses of IGNOU

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has increased the problems of IGNOU by releasing the list of distance education institutes and courses offered there. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers about 50 regular courses, excluding certificate and diploma courses. However, UGC has released a list of only 42 courses of IGNOU, which has caused confusion among the students. As per the UGC directive dated August 9, if a distance learning institution is conducting a course without the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education or the accrediting institute affiliated to the course, the course will not be valid.
